Impact: Healthier communities, improved school attendance for girls, improved quality of life.
How a borehole comes to life
- 1
Community sourcing
Communities identify need and commit to long-term stewardship of the water point.
- 2
Mechanised borehole
Drilling, pump installation, and storage bring safe water within easy reach of homes.
- 3
Sanitation training
WASH education embeds hygiene practices and encourages women's leadership in water management.
- 4
Community impact
Reduced waterborne disease, less time spent fetching water, and more hours in school for girls.
